Walkies With Tom & Toto

all you need to know

**Our dog walking spaces are currently full. We will reopen this on 1st of October 2019. Please get in touch if you require dog care from this time**

If you are looking for a dog walker in Norwich then join our pack! Tom and Toto dogs love their daily walks. Our dog walkers are experienced professionals and have come to us with a love of dogs and prior experience. We have very high standards of safety and put our team through a thorough training program.

If your dog likes to socialise and play then our group walks are definitely for them! Our dog walkers take on average 4 dogs per group walk and a maximum of 5 dogs once all dogs have been introduced and get on well together.

We also offer Big Pack Walks! 2/3 dog walkers join forces with their dogs for maximum enjoyment! Pack walks introduce your dog to many new faces, improves social skills and confidence. Extra staff for safety and extra dogs to play with. We take all our dogs to the best green spaces around Norwich.

Before we get going, we will come to you and introduce ourselves. The initial meeting is free and we bring our business insurance documents, canine first aid certificates and police checks for you to look over. You can ask us any questions you may have and we can work out the best plan for you and your dog.

Your dogs first walk is always a 121 with their dog walker (see Solo on your welcome Pack). They will join another member of the team and some compatible dogs to ease them in to the Tom and Toto way of life to make sure the dogs are happy with traveling in the car and meeting new faces.

We offer lunchtime group walks Monday to Friday and lunchtime walks are always between 11am-2:30pm. We also walk at the weekend at a solo dog rate. If you would like to arrange a meet and greet please click here.

Home Puppy Visits

a dedicated service

Before your puppy is old enough to head out with friends in public spaces, we offer Pre-vaccination Puppy visits when a Sitter comes to your own home and has some garden or indoor playtime to make sure your puppy has fun and lunch while you are out. These are the 1 hour Pre-Vaccination visits and you can have 1 or 2 of these each day depending on how long they will be left. We also offer 30 min Pet Sitting visits in the case you just need someone to pop in and say hi and a pop them out to the toilet. We will feed lunch, clean up any accidents and can help with toilet training.

Once your puppy is able to come out to play, they can join our puppy play group. They have a fantastic time, learn how to socialise with other dogs in secure and safe areas with our experienced staff and go home to crash out for the afternoon! Puppies love playing together and our groups are so much fun for young dogs!

We would love your puppy to join us, so check our Facebook Page for a feel of the work we do or click here to arrange an initial meeting

great and transparent service

Get to know your pet sitter or dog walker. Please ask them any questions about our services and look over our info folder containing insurance, first aid certification and DBS documents. You will have already been asked to register with us online before the meeting so please just show your sitter your home routine and allow your pets time to have their first cuddles with their new friend. Please also have TWO sets of your house key ready for us.

While we assign you a primary walker, we cannot guarantee the same person each time you book a walk. We work in a close nit team and communicate often with each other, so all information is passed onto each team member caring for your dogs. We do like to get together for our group walks so more dogs can socialise. It also means an extra pair of human eyes to watch over the dogs and it gives your dog the chance to meet all the walkers. If your usual walker is on holiday your dog will have met the rest of the team and be greeted by a familiar face when they come to pick them up.

We update your information in our pet sitting software as well. It may be that a walker is off due to illness, personal obligations or annual leave. Our promise is that we will always have a trained, qualified walker to cover your dog walking needs. Our walkers are qualified employees (not independent contractors) who are team members. They are insured, canine first aid trained and police checked. We hope you will enjoy getting to know us all!

Absolutely! Your first meet & greet is always free. Additional meet and greet visits are £12 for a 30 minute introduction. If you need more time, we’re happy to schedule an extended 1 hour visit for £20. You can arrange a meet & greet in the online booking system or call the office to schedule.

We accept BACS or CC payments. We do not accept cash or cheque payments. Our dog walking clients are all invoiced monthly for the walks they have had that month.
