Do you want to spoil your dog this Valentine’s Day, then look no further! We have compiled a few really easy recipes you can try yourself at home!

Strawberry love hearts
Ingredients:
- 32g Greek yoghurt
- 3-4 large strawberries finely chopped
- silicone mould or ice cube tray
Method:
- Cut up your strawberries into small pieces
- Add a few bits of strawberry to each section of a love heart silicone tray, or an ice cube tray
- Spoon in some Greek yoghurt over your strawberries and pop them in the freezer for 3-4 hours
- Once the mixture is frozen, pop them out and treat your dog!!

Apple and peanut butter hearts
Ingredients:
- 1 ripe banana
- 150g wholewheat flour
- 40g peanut butter (100% peanut kind)
- 1 egg
- 50g finely sliced apple
Method:
Preheat your oven to 180°C
- Mash the banana in a bowl
- Add the rest of the ingredients and mix into a dough
- Add small amounts of flour if sticky
- Roll out your dough until it is a ¼ inch thick
- Using a heart shaped biscuit cutter, cut your biscuits out of the dough
- Place your treats onto a baking tray and bake in the oven for 20 minutes
- Once baked, place onto a wire rack to cool

Cheesy dog biscuits
Ingredients:
200g wholewheat flour
1 egg
50g applesauce
50ml water
1 tbsp coconut oil
½ tsp cinnamon
Filling:
50g cream cheese
1tsp beetroot powder (optional)
Method:
Preheat your oven to 180°C
- Beat the egg and mix in all other ingredients (except water)
- Add the water, a little at a time, until the mixture forms a dough adding a little flour if sticky
- Roll out to an inch thick
- Cut biscuits using a cutter or a knife – cutting an even number of biscuits, as there needs to be a top and a bottom
- Bake using greaseproof paper on your baking tray for 10-15 mins
- For the filling mix the cream cheese and beetroot powder together
- Once the biscuits are completely cool, add a teaspoon of the filling to half of the biscuits and add the tops on!
