How do you select a home boarder for my dog?
Wecarefully match your dog with a licensed and insured carer based on their individual needs, personality, and preferences. This ensures the best possible fit for your dog’s happiness and well-being.
Are your home boarders licensed and insured?
Yes! All our home boarders are fully licensed, insured, and DBS-checked. They also receive training and support from our team, leveraging over a decade of experience in professional dog care.
What safety checks are in place for home boarders?
Weregularly inspect all our home boarders to ensure they meet our high standards. These checks include home safety, adherence to licensing requirements, and ongoing care standards.
Will I receive updates about my dog?
Yes! You’ll get regular ‘pupdates’ through our Collar system, including pictures and feedback, so you can see how much fun your dog is having and feel reassured they’re happy and safe.
What happens if there’s an emergency?
Our home boarders are trained to handle emergencies and have 24/7 access to our support team. If veterinary care is needed, we’ll contact you immediately and take your dog to your designated vet or our emergency Vets.
Can you accommodate special needs or medication for my dog?
Yes, our home boarders are experienced in caring for dogs with specific needs. Whether it’s administering medication, managing dietary requirements, or providing extra attention, we ensure your dog is cared for according to your instructions.

How far in advance should I book?
Werecommend booking as early as possible, especially during peak holiday periods, to secure availability and allow ample time to match your dog with the right carer.
Is there a trial period before the boarding starts?
Yes, we can arrange a “meet and greet” or trial day with the selected boarder so your dog can get comfortable with their temporary home and carer.
What does the boarding fee include?
The fee includes all care provided by the home boarder, regular updates through our Collar system, and any additional transport to and from daycare or grooming appointments, as needed.
Is your dog home boarding service suitable for all dogs?
Weonly accept well rounded, temperament tested dogs, we do not accept boisterous or reactive dogs, if your dog has specific needs, please speak to our manager to find out more, we are more than happy to chat and see if your dog is suitable for home boarding and will always help where we can.
Where are your home boarders located?
Our home boarders are located in the Broadland Council area.
Can I meet the boarder before confirming?
Yes, once we’ve matched you with a suitable boarder, we’ll arrange a meeting so you can feel confident and comfortable with your dog’s carer.
What should I bring with my dog?
You should bring everything with them, their normal food, treats, bed, crate and toys. If your dog has specific needs, ie medication or specific dietary requirements please make sure your profile is filled out on our Collar app and the team are aware of any specific needs your dog has.
Can I look around the home where my dog will be staying?
Weprovide detailed profiles, pictures and try to match our home boarders to our dogs where possible, if you’d really like a visit, then we can arrange this.
I don’t have a vehicle, is it possible to provide transport?
Unfortunately we cannot pick up and drop off your dog, you will need to provide transport to our home boarders location.
How much exercise will my dog be getting each day?
We will adhere to your dog’s normal exercise routine and provide as many walks as they usually have. If they are a daycare dog, our home boarder will transport your dog to daycare and back, adhering to their usual days and routine at daycare.
Will my dog be staying with other dogs?
Some of our homes accept multiple dogs at the same time and others take only one family’s dogs at a time. Our home boarders have no pets of their own so their attention is fully on the job of caring for your dog.
Are the dog boarders insured?
All of our dog boarders are fully licensed by the council and insured by us, and we do regular check ins, making sure they are keeping to our high standards.
Can you board puppies?
We are more than happy to board puppies and will meet their routine and needs, just as you would at home.
