Goldies Social

Saturday 4th April 11:30AM-1PM

Calling all Golden Retrievers.

This social is designed for those joyful, people-loving, tail-wagging personalities who thrive in friendly company. Goldies are known for their enthusiasm and softness — so we structure sessions to allow playful interaction while keeping things calm and balanced.

A brilliant way for your Golden to enjoy like-minded friends in a safe, managed setting.

Rescue & Crossbreed Social

Sunday 24th May 9am-10:30am

This special morning session is for our wonderful rescue dogs and mixed breeds.

Rescues can have beautifully unique personalities and sometimes need a little more thoughtful interaction. This event focuses on confidence-building, positive interaction and calm, well-matched play groups.

A welcoming, supportive environment for dogs with varied backgrounds — and the owners who love them.

Doodles & Poodles Social

 Sunday 7th June 9am-10:30am

For all Doodles, Poodles, Cockapoos and curly-coated charmers.

These clever, energetic and often very social breeds love interaction — but can become over-excited if not managed well. Our structured approach ensures play remains balanced, appropriate and enjoyable.

Expect bouncy greetings, clever games and carefully supervised fun.

Corgi Social

Sunday 5th July 9am-10:30am

Short legs. Big personalities.

Corgis are confident, clever and often wonderfully opinionated. This session gives them space to play with their own kind, with supervision to ensure their herding instincts and enthusiasm stay fun and friendly.

A lively but controlled morning for these charismatic little characters.

Labrador Social

Sunday 9th August 9am-10:30am

Friendly, enthusiastic and always ready for fun — our Labrador Social is perfect for these playful companions.

Labradors often bring big energy and big hearts, so we carefully manage group sizes and pace to keep interactions positive and structured.

Ideal for Labs who love company and benefit from joyful social time.

Beagle Social

Sunday 6th September 9am-10:30am

Nose-led, curious and full of character.

Beagles love to explore and interact, and this social is designed to channel that energy in a safe, secure setting. With supervision and well-matched groups, we create a fun session tailored to their playful, scent-driven nature.

Expect movement, chatter and lots of wagging tails.

Spaniel Social

Saturday 3rd October 11:30–1pm

For our busy, bright and adventure-loving Spaniels.

Spaniels are energetic and highly social, so this social is a lot of fun! A fantastic outlet for those waggy tails and working brains — all within our daycare gardens.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Who can attend your dog socials?

Each event is tailored to a specific group (breed, age or category). Dogs must match the event type and be comfortable around other dogs in a structured setting.

Breed specific events are for all ages of dog – as soon as your puppy is fully vaccinated they can join!

If you’re unsure whether your dog is suitable, just contact us — we’re happy to advise.

Does my dog need to be fully vaccinated?

Yes. All attending dogs must be fully vaccinated and in good health. We may request proof of vaccination.

This helps us protect every dog in attendance.

What if my dog hasn’t been to Tom & Toto before?

New dogs are very welcome. However, if we haven’t met your dog before, we may ask a few questions about temperament or recommend a short assessment before booking.

We prioritise group harmony and safety.

What happens if my dog becomes overwhelmed?

Our team are trained in reading canine body language and managing play dynamics.

If a dog becomes overstimulated or uncomfortable, we will:
• Provide a break
• Redirect play
• Separate if necessary

We have plenty of space both inside our play rooms and outside in the paddocks so they have the option wether to interact or go and explore. Your dog’s wellbeing always comes first.

Can owners stay and watch?

Yes! We are excited to have you with us as well as your dog. Please do be mindful of bringing small children however into an environment with many dogs.

How many dogs attend each event?

Numbers are intentionally limited to 30 across our three paddocks to maintain a calm environment. We do not run large, chaotic group sessions.

What if my dog plays a bit roughly?

Normal play can include chasing, mouthing and vocalising. That’s part of healthy social interaction.

However, we will always step in if play becomes too intense, unbalanced or unsafe.

Our goal is positive experiences — not “letting them sort it out.”

Are nervous or rescue dogs welcome?

Absolutely — particularly at our Rescue & Crossbreed Social.

That said, suitability depends on the individual dog. If your dog is fearful, reactive or easily overwhelmed, contact us first so we can guide you appropriately.

What should I bring?

• A secure collar or harness
• Lead
• Poo bags and treats

Please do not bring toys, there is plenty for the dogs to do and explore.

Are these events suitable for puppies?

Yes — our Puppy Social is specifically designed for dogs aged 3–6 months.

All other breed-specific events are suitable for puppies once fully vaccinated.

How much are tickets?

Tickets are £12 per dog. Humans are free. All dogs will receive a goodie bag with treats to take hime too!

What is your cancellation policy?

Bookings are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled by Tom & Toto.

If you cannot attend, we may be able to transfer your place to another suitable dog with prior agreement.
